2. ALPHA PROTOTYPE
The idea is simple. The prototype is based on a module-shelf, which serves as a ladder to adjacent shelves. It allows easy access to the top shelves of the bookcases.
The step function assumes a module drawer in the base of the shelf. The drawer is designed in the form of steps that
open manually from your bottom drawer. The bottom drawer pulls to open the top drawer, to deploy the whole staircase.
The drawers are specially designed to support the weight of a person and form a safe and sturdy ladder. We have studied
a system of opening the lids of the boxes to get inside and allows use to store. A safety system that does not reduce the
robustness of the steps and expand access to the interior of the steps.
